b, hb, 2b, 6b, 9b,.. pencils on smooth paper (actual drawing size) wow, haven't finished something in a long time..been a very long time since i've worked in black n white n graphite. this is in fact just a study of a detail for something i've had in mind for a while, something that hopefully will be BIG (sizewise for sure) once i get round to it. refference photo is a color concert shot by a photographer of whom i've never discovered the name. the black background is done mostly in photoshop for many reasons i.e. laziness (perfect black is one of the hardest things to achieve) and lack of a good scanner (always turns a near-perfect black into a shitty grainy grey anyways). the original backgound is actually in ink. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
