yea, this took forever to get done, and with my trip in england and school in the way i put it away for a while.. i'm real satisfied with the eyes and mouth but not with the way the hair (with the rolling stone writing covering it i basically had to invent it lol) or the skin came out so i fixed it a tiny bit in photoshop and that's about it.
now a word on WOMEN IN ROCK
most people think (but then again it might not be so true) that women are more obsessed with beauty than men, so people tend to think we're therefore more obsessed with fame and money, but as a matter of fact it's normally men that are more obsessed with money. i really admire the girls like courtney, lita ford, pj harvey, etc cos they've got that amazing strong voice that's from a woman's masculine side, and we need to embrace that masculine, that energy, to be stronger.. remember, rarely do well behaved women make history! we've been too scared to express ourselves for too long a time, i think that because we have a better ability to provoke and make scandals, we have even a better chance of getting our messages to the world out there. we should concede ourselves more freedom in out actions. we might have the same rights as men but in society we seem still to be a little underestimated and put down, it's time we all get out there, get some r-e-s-p-e-c-t back, and sing our lungs out!
(too bad for personalities like paris hilton who just turn this image upside down and ruin our positive image and all.)
